There is a Clan who doesn’t drink blood but feast on the souls of the unwary. Clan Revenants are what some call psychic vampires and it wouldn’t be far from the truth given their powers. 

The Clan prides themself on stability and order, afterall, they created the Undying Society and brought every Clan into its fold. 

ST Note: Clan Revenant is a Clan built as corporation with zero room for emotions, yet of course emotions slips out once in a while to shame of the Clan. Clan Revenant is a deeply pragmatic political clan, that deals with the reality of the situation, this is not the Clan if you want to have plenty of deep public emotional play.

The Revenant culture has a focus on stability and shame, self sacrifice for the clan. One must suppress their emotions to succeed.

Attachment Issues

Clan Revenant is not allowed to have attachments, this rule has backfired. Clan Revenant hides their attachment out of shame, but that simply makes them yearn for it.

Each Connection you have, alive or dead, is a Secret as well as a Connection.

The Awoken Dragon

When the dragon is awoken, the clan always makes sure to protect their foreign investments, and the possible mental side effects of dealing with the harsh reality of the world.

If there is a Dissolution Crisis then:
At the start of each Checkin you lose all of your Blood Bonds to other Characters(They can still be Blood Bonded to you), you are also start each Session under the effects of the Ritual “Mind Fortress“.

If there is no Dissolution Crisis then:

You gain the Merits “Manager” and “First-Class“.

If the City ever becomes the Undying Society, the Clan gains new Traits and a Clanbook matching their new job as managers of the Undying Society.

Psychic Vampire(Fluff Trait)

Clan Revenant have empowered blood in their veins like any Vampire, but this empowerment isn’t nurtured by drinking human blood but by siphoning what they believe to be their souls. This siphoning have been discovered to not work on neither Mages/Clan Ghul nor Vampires. Luckily drinking the empowered blood of other Vampires and Ghouls seems to work just fine.

Clan Agenda

Clan Revenant always tries to keep the stability of the Undying Society and its influence within it. With the Nephilim Reform happening they want the new Nephilim to be as pro Undying Society as possible.

Clan Structure

Corporation. The strict East Asian business firm is the hallmark for Clan Revenant, they expand and conquer like any capitalist but they do so with order and civility. There is a Board with its Boardmembers and the Associates. The Board makes the decisions and the Associates assists the different Boardmembers in their duties.

Clan Embrace 

Every Character has had an Embrace where they went from a Mortal without knowledge to a Vampire with knowledge, here we look into what kind of Character would usually be Embraced into the Revenant. The people embraced into the Clan are pragmatists and people of a conservative leaning, preferring stability instead of newfound ideals.

The Cunning Businessman – Anyone with a sense of manipulation and getting ahead can strive in Clan Revenant. While cunning is important, some personal sacrifice is what solidifies the process of becoming a Clan member.

The Protegé – Sometimes people are born into the business, selected from trusted families or an orphanage and raised to become members with the right stuff.

The Local Connection – Sometimes the best possible people for running the Clan is someone local. These kinds of individuals are still brought through a grueling process of assessment and loyalty, but in the end they have the largest payoff.

Clan Organization

Each Clan has its own Organization of humans who they turn into Blood Servants to serve them. When using Bind Humans in the Storytellers Room you can Bind them from your Clan Organization.

3 Influence: Elite Personnel Training – Every Intrigue you send has an increased 25% chance of Success. (Minor becomes Moderate, Moderate becomes Major, and Major becomes always succeed)

Lore: The amount of backwash and cover up that Clan Revenant deals in is only possible thanks to the Undying Syndicate, a underworld criminal organization that deals in the preservation of vampiric afterlife. They have been known to work with hunter organizations to preserve the Masquerade.
