This History segment is for the common Vampire, knowledge of the past beyond 300 years is murky at best, the origin of each Clan are well known topics, but only the astute historians know of the supernatural world history.
2200-500 BC: The birth of Clan Agamemnon Rooted in myth and legend, the true origin of Clan Agamemnon is disputed between three events: The Tower of Babel, The Trojan War and The Formation of the Roman Republic.
320 AD: The birth of Clan Nephilim Clan Nephilim is believed to rise out of the kingdom of Aksum in the early 4th century. This origin is also what seems to fuel their Crusade against magic.
1475 AD: The birth of Clan Dracul Born from desperation in Wallachia. Vlad Tepes sacrifices everything he knows to stop the Ottoman invasion.
1513 AD: The birth of Clan Chupacabra Sprung out of Honduras. Chupacabra grew at a violent pace during their early years.
1738 AD: The birth of Clan Revenant Clan Revenant was formed in China after multiple diplomatic bonds with the Dracul Empire. Their purpose was at first a stable and quiet life.
1803-1815 AD: The Bastion Crusade Europe in flames. Clan Nephilim uses the opportunity to crusade across the continent eliminating numerous mage orders. This weakens several important institutions including hunters.
1476-1492 AD: The First Vampire War
War changes everyone and everything, morals become blurred by the river of blood. The Ottoman Empire viewed Europe as ripe for the taking, with their ambition high and assisted by Clan Nephilim they went on a rampage. First they tore Constantinople down and afterwards mainland Europe lay open, none could stop their armies of gunpowder and vampires, none except Vlad Tepes.
Vlad commanded the forces of Hungary and was aided by both Mages and Hunters. The War was horrifying and bloody, and became known as The First Vampire War.
The War bled the countries of Wallachia and Hungary dry, over time Vlad came to lose almost everything. He staked thousands upon thousands of enemies, his inhumane solution for an inhumane opponent.
The war dragged on and Vlad became desperate enough to emulate the powers of his enemies. So with the help of his mages, and the magic he himself learned, they created a new Clan with little care to what they could lose, because they have already lost it.
From then the Vampire War changed, the Ottoman invaders were repelled but the rest of the Balkans was in ruins. Vlad demanded reparations from the church but they wanted nothing to do with the monster, so the monster decided that the war was not over. He started to threaten the borders of Italy and Poland, and fear grew across the continent of the Dragon…
In the end the Vatican Church chose to send their best people to remove the cursed Vlad from his throne, and they did succeed.
Vlad Tepes died but his legacy lived on.
1519-1525 AD: The Second Vampire War
A hugely impactful war that is obscured in history. It took place in middle America and could have shaped the entire world if Chupacabra wasn’t defeated.
1839-1855 AD: England Falls Clan Revenant becomes de facto the most powerful Clan as they gain control of the English empire.
1860 AD: The Founding of the Undying Society Clan Revenant uses their world reaching influence to gather representatives from all known Clans. After weeks of debate the formation of the Undying Society begins. The Clans now work together to secure a stable future.
1901 AD: The American Crusade When the Nephilim arrived unto the Americas there weren’t any mage orders left, they died with their people. The American Crusade is by all accounts the least active Nephilim crusade and the catalyst for the Covenant of New York.
1933-1950 AD: World War Ghoul Europe in Flames. The Order of the Crossroad used manipulation of human conflict, they kidnapped thousands of vampires effectively holding dynasties hostage. The war ends with the treaty of Zurich and the formation of Clan Ghul.
1950 AD: The birth of Clan Ghul The Order of the Crossroads becomes Clan Ghul and officially joins the Undying Society.
1959 AD: The Rise of Tzarina Konstantina Chernotov House Chernotov takes the Dracul Throne and ushers in the current era of fear based politics in Clan Dracul.
2003 AD: The Last Sorcerer It’s been 20 years since the last mage was discovered by Clan Nephilim, hiding out in Seattle.
2023 AD: The Covenant of New York Clan Nephilim has decided to gather in New York for a Covenant regarding their own future.
