Chupacabra

When we die, we will go to hell, nothing will change that. But God has given us purpose, a chance at redemption. Because we do not have to die, if we just become perfect enough, we can truly inherit this world, the land of nod, as the great murderer did before us. 

Praise Cain, for as the first prophet, he was shown the path towards life, a path where we can finally turn our imperfect world into our own garden of eden. 

The path of perfection.

More of a Cult than a Clan, the Chupacabra believes in turning the imperfect to perfection. Led by  beasts they call Saints, they have twisted christianity into a whole new monster. Let the meek inherit the kingdom of God, so the kindred may inherit the land of Nod.

ST Note: You are a fanatic, a follower and a believer in this intense cult. The play you will experience in the Cult of Perfection can very well lead to bleed, so take good care of your fellow players before and after the larp.

The Chupacabra has a very devout culture centered around the belief in god. They believe in perfection and how they can help people become the best version of themselves under god.

Traits

Saint(This trait require Storyteller approval)

For every ten vampires in the Chupacabra Clan one becomes a hideous monster. A monster who would cause the world to know of the vampiric existence should they be discovered. These monsters exist because they can adopt all the flaws of their followers, they are the reasons for why perfection is possible.

Sometimes a Chupacabra is cursed with leadership, reverence and flaws. This player is required to wear heavy makeup to look the part of a monster, but will also be required to play the part of religious worship and sainthood in the Cult of Perfection. 

The Perfection Rituals and Cult belief centers around the Saints. A Saint cannot use I Do It Myself! and you can no longer use Blood Servants to do Intrigues, forced to scheme and act in the human world through other Characters.

Bonds of Belief

Becoming part of the cult means participating in Rituals where you will become connected to the saints. This connection will save you from eternal damnation.

All non-Saint Chupacabra are Blood Bonded to a Saint. Work out with the Saint Character the severity of the Bond.

Evangelion

The sacred evangelion, the word of god, the path to perfection. Saints use the holy word to secure our future, while the flock uses it to pray for their souls.

A non-Saint cannot learn any levels in Perfection. But if they have 2+ in Occultism they can learn levels in Vinculum.

Saints cannot learn levels in Vinculum, but can learn any levels in Perfection without having 2+ in Occultism.

Clan Agenda

Spreading the faith is the common goal of Clan Chupacabra. But during the Nephilim Reformation the goal now is to make Clan Nephilim more susceptible to Cult influences.

Clan Structure

Cult. The Cult of Perfection functions much like a Church on the outside but a Cult on the inside. Their biggest strength is their Clan, they work much better together than any other Clan and can therefore utilize that power towards any of their goals. Each Cult is led by a Saint and everyone has a ranking determined by their faith. Ascending in rank is done through holy ceremonies that also strips away your weaknesses. 

Clan Embrace

Every Character has had an Embrace where they went from a Mortal without knowledge to a Vampire with knowledge, here we look into what kind of Character would usually be Embraced into the Chupacabra. The Embrace into the cult has a common denominator, everyone selected to become a vampire is a murderer. While this means everyone has experience causing someone else’s death, it can be for very drastically different reasons.

The Religious One – You’ve been a christian your entire life, the guilt and shame of murder makes for a quick recruit into the cult.

The Dying One – You’re on death’s door, with one thing left to experience, eternal damnation. But you are given a second chance, this circumstance makes loyalty and religion a walk in the park.

The Psychopath – You have murdered, and it felt good, it’s the only thing that makes you feel nowadays. Becoming a vampire gives you new unfelt emotions, the taste of vampiric blood and the bond to your Saint.

After the Embrace you are first sent to the local Saint for approval, after which you are shipped to South America for the true indoctrination. The Cult has a large acre of schools and farmland where the ideals, culture and rules of the cult are taught to new members.

Clan Organization

Each Clan has its own Organization of humans who they turn into Blood Servants to serve them. When using Bind Humans in the Storytellers Room you can Bind them from your Clan Organization.

Name: Church of Christ Ascended.

Intrigues: Discredit, Advertise, Steal Component, Slander.

3 Influence: Cult Fanatics – You can sacrifice a Cult Blood Servant in the Storytellers Room to do any Intrigue, this will breach the Masquerade

Lore: Masking as a public christian church, in secret it’s a cult that abducts people to far away lands in order to teach them about their religion. They seem friendly in the first place but they are the fanatical lackeys of the Cult of Perfection.
