Common Sense

Everything your Character does happens in the context of the world around them, this world is both new to you and to many others.

So instead of you figuring out what is common sense before it’s too late, we made a list of things we think makes sense.

• Each Clan protects its own or else it would lose integrity. If you kill someone their Clan will seek the appropriate retribution, so maybe just rough them up instead.

• Each Character was once human, that tends to bring a lot of human morality with it, don’t be surprised when you run into it.

• Trusting even your friends can be a hard thing, you never know when their ambition grows beyond friendships. 

• Being disloyal can equal death, never ever mention your own disloyalty.

• Loyalty does not mean doing everything for your Clan all the time, but it means that when your Clan needs you, you are there. Often this means obeying the Clan Leader.

• Elysium is not a place of safety, but a necessary place of politics, people die at Elysium far more often than any other place.

• Not one single sane Character would ever venture into Elysium while pregnant.

• The tricky part of murder is not killing someone but avoid getting caught.

• Do not fuck with Elders, they usually control an entire Clan.

• What you do, reflects who you are and whether or not you can be trusted.

• Do not fuck with Hunters, they are the Masquerades last line of defence.

• Do not be afraid to bring entertainment to Elysium, it can release tension.

• Everything you do, reflects upon your Clan.
