Accused – The person who is on Trial and might be sentenced to death.

Ambition – The curse that affects each Character, increasing their desires for a specific predetermined goal.

Ancillae – Experienced Socialites.

Arbiter – A Title. It’s the primary law enforcer of the Undying Society.

Bind Humans – An action that can be done in the Storytellers Room where you can obtain Blood Servants to do Intrigues for you.

Blessing – A Blessing is a Ritual that when you are hit by it, it feels like receiving renewed energy. 

Blood Bond – A supernatural bond of loyalty, usually one way and through the consumption of Blood.

Blood Points – A Resource representing the amount of blood in your Characters veins. Used in Disciplines, Ritual Paths, Intrigues, The Nephilim Reform etc.

Blood Servant – A Resource used to do Intrigues on your behalf. 

Blood Tax – The collective Herd from a Clans Domains that are redistributed amongst its Clan members.

Campaign – A larp made of several sessions.

Captured Mortal – A human Connection or Blood Servant who is being held captive by another Character.

Challenge – A unique cultural event within Clan Agamemnon.

Character – A role played by a participating player of the larp.

Checkin – The first thing you must do before participating at this larp, done in the Storytellers Room. 

Checkout – The act of delivering any or all of your Blood Points and Blood Servants at one or more of the Reform Boxes before going home, the rest is to be delivered in the Storytellers Room.

Church of Christ Ascended – The human Organization that belongs to Clan Chupacabra.

Clan – A supernatural faction in The Undying Society, usually with the same supernatural traits, culture and ideology.

Clan Leader – A Character who leads a Clan through a title, the six Clan Leaders are Ambassador, Saint, First Speaker, Chapter Master, Director. 

Clan Marker – A token that shows if the Masquerade has been breached by its Clan.

Clan Organization – Each Clan has an Organization of humans working for them.

Clan Rank – The importance of your Character within their Clan. 

Collect Components – Components you receive at Checkin for having 2+ Occultism.

Condition – Manipulations, Curses, Blessings, and Paralyzed are Conditions, and you always know when you are affected by a Condition.

Conflict – The mechanical term for combat between Characters.

Connections – A Character or an Item that is part of your life, keeping you more sane. 

Conviction – An insane ideological belief brought on by living a cannibalistic afterlife.

Council – The Council is a group of representatives from each Clan making political decisions that affect everyone.

Council Meeting – A specific meeting at Elysium between Councilors.

Councilor – A Clan representative on the Council.

Covenant – An official meeting between several packs in Clan Nephilim.

Curse – A Curse is a Ritual that when you are hit by it, it feels like something is terribly wrong.

Custodian – A Character that manages a Domain on behalf of their Clan.

Dark Knowledge – Hidden knowledge only accessible to expert occultists. 

Deputy – A Title giving to those working for the Arbiter.

Diablerie – The act of drinking all of a vampire’s blood and their soul, granting power and damnation to the diablerist. 

Dispel – Meaning a Ritual being stopped, the caster can Dispel the Ritual, at will or by dying. Clan Ghul can also Dispel Rituals

Disciplines – A supernatural power that requires little to no preparation to use.

Domain – A specific place, area or venue in the human world that’s important to the acquisition of blood.

Domitor – A Blood Servants vampiric master.

Duskborn – A Character who was born to one or more parents with membership in the Undying Society.

Elder – The eldest of Socialites.

Elysium – The meeting place of all clans to discuss politics.

Elysium Keeper – The manager of the Elysium, a title held by Clan Revenant.

Elysium Staff – Servants, guards, bartenders at the Elysium.

Embrace – The act of turning a human into a Vampire.

Enhancement – A Discipline that is always active.

Envelope – Used to send in Intrigues with Blood Servants.

Evidence – A marker on the city map that can be Investigated for information about an Intrigue that went down.

Feast Token – A Resource used in the Storytellers Room to do a free Desperate Feed Intrigue.

Flaw – A dramatic weakness in your Character.

Ghouls – A human who drinks from several Vampires in order to live forever without forming a Blood Bond.

Herd – The amount of Blood Points a Domain adds to their Clan’s Blood Taxes.

Hunter Event – an Event that affects a Clan badly for breaching the Masquerade the most.

Hunters – Humans who uphold the Masquerade through any means necessary.

I Do It Myself! – An Intrigue made by your Character instead of a Blood Servant.

Imperial Royalist Armed Forces – The human Organization that belongs to Clan Dracul.

Influence – A Road that focuses on Intrigues and Blood Servants.

Interplay – Larping between Sessions.

Intrigues – An action that affects the Story through the human world.

Item – A type of Resource that can be stolen and is Ingame.

Judge – A Judge in a Trial.

Larp – Live Action Roleplay, the thing that we do when you play your Character in the game.

Library of Secrets – What people call the supposed spies of Clan Ghul.

Mage – A human who can create and use powerful Rituals.

Major chance – More times than not, it happens.

Manipulation – A Discipline that can be activated.

Masquerade – The secret of the existence of supernaturals.

Merit – A benefit that affects one of the three playstyles.

Midnight Brethren – The human Organization that belongs to Clan Nephilim.

Minor chance – More times than not, it doesn’t happen.

Moderate chance – About half the time it happens.

Neonate – The youngest category of Socialites.

Occultism – A Road that focuses on Ritual Paths and knowledge.

Offgame – Term used to describe something as real life or not within the game. It is also a hand signal that shows if you are ingame or not, shown by putting one hand on one’s head.

Paralyzed – A person who is Paralyzed cannot move, talk, use any Disciplines or Rituals. You are still awake and aware.

Potency – A Road that focuses on Disciplines.

Prominent Member – a Character with Prominent Status.

Proposition – A change put forth by a Councilor that is to be voted on, at the next Council Meeting.

Prowess – A measure of a Character’s fighting ability, used in Conflicts.

Reform – One of many ideological ways that the Nephilim can walk down.

Resources – A physical object representing an ingame mechanic.

Rituals – A supernatural power that requires much preparation and sacrifice. 

Ritual Components – A Resource used as the primary ingredient of Rituals.

Ritual Path – A collection of Rituals with the same theme. 

Road – An attribute that unlocks or improves one of the three play styles: Disciplines, Intrigues and Rituals. 

Safety Guide – A designated person who can help handling offgame problems, see more under Safety Guides in Vision document.

Sanity – The gauge of how willing your Character is to solve their Ambition.

Secret – Information about a Character that has ingame consequences should it be revealed.

Semi-npc’s – A Character with some offgame responsibilities.

Session – An official larping event.

Spy – A special Blood Servant card available only to Clan Ghul

Socialite – A member of the Undying Society.

Stakes – A Resource used at the end of a Conflict to paralyze Vampires and Ghouls.

Status – A deciding factor for how other Characters treat you.

Story – All ingame events at this larp are basically one big story.

Storyteller – The larp organizers.

Storytellers Room – The place where you can usually find a Storyteller.

Taboo – An act that would make you lose Status should you do it.

Territory – A large city area filled with Domains

Tiny chance – About once or twice a year. 

Titles – A position within a Clan or the Undying Society.

Token – a type of Resource that is Offgame and shown by a little marker or pearl.

Traditions – The Three Laws that exist in the Undying Society per default. May change from city to city.

Undying Society – The political community in which the Clans negotiate with each other without interference from the outside world.

Undying Syndicate – The human Organization that belongs to Clan Revenant.

Vampire – A human who has gained supernatural powers and lives forever through the consumption of human blood.

Vial – A Resource that can be consumed and affects the drinker with a Ritual.

Weapon – A Resource used during a Conflict, usually a gun or a big knife.
