Blood Alchemy

With Vampiric Blood this Path seeks to manipulate the immortal body and its blood. They change the power of the blood through their profane science. Users of Blood Alchemy are known as Alchemists. Belonging to Clan Ghul.

Vials and Reagents 

When casting a Blood Alchemy Ritual of level 1-3 you use little Vials filled with altered vampiric blood. Only when drinking the entire Vial does one gain the effect of that Ritual. 

  • Vials must have a note with its name.
  • A Vial can only contain one Ritual at a time and you cannot drink a Vial when you are in a Conflict.
  • The contents of a Vial can be put into another container and can be of any taste or drink. If someone drinks from the container you must notify them of the effect.
  • A Vial can be saved from month to month, remember to tell during Checkout what you have saved.

Level 1

Concoction of Hate
A sip to end men, a drink to end mankind.
Type: Blessing, Curse.
Cost: Trivial Components, 2 Blood Points.
Effect: Increase your Prowess by one step and become either angry, envious or paranoid.
This Blessing lasts for 5 minutes.
Vitae Distillation
Distill hope.
Type: Incantation.
Cost: Trivial Components, 2 Blood Points.
Effect: You regain 2 Blood Points.
Transmutation of Blood
The value of blood is unlimited.
Type: Incantation.
Cost: 1 Blood Point.
Effect: Create a Vial that can be used as a Trivial Component. Can’t be combined with Tonic of Power.

Level 2

Ichor Concentration 
A toast to our new friendship.
Type: Incantation.
Cost: Trivial Components, 1 Blood Point from a Character.
Effect: You become Blood Bonded or increase your Blood Bond to the Character which Blood was used in the creation of this Vial.
Sanguine Cure
Become true.
Type: Blessing
Cost: Trivial Components, 1 Blood Point.
Effect: Reduce your Blood Bonds by 1 step.
This Blessing lasts for 30 minutes.

Level 3

Tonic of Power
Mix for desired consequences.
Type: Incantation.
Cost: Uncommon Components, 1 Blood Point.
Effect: Can be combined with another Vial into the same cup for stronger effects. 
Concoction of Hate Increases your Prowess by two steps instead and loses 1 Sanity, become paranoid and envious, the Blessing lasts for 1 hour instead.
Vitae Distillation Regain 3 Blood Points, at the next Checkin you gain 3 Blood Points instead of rolling for it. Inform Storyteller.
Ichor Concentration Blood Bonds is not reduced at the next Checkin. Inform Storyteller.
Sanguine Cure Reduce your Blood Bonds by 1 step permanently and Sanguine Cure becomes an Incantation.
Elixir of Malice You lose 2 Blood Points every 10 minutes instead.

A combined Vial still counts as being of its former type, so a combined Sanguine Cure is still a Blessing.
Elixir of Malice
Drink at your own pleasure. 
Type: Curse.
Cost: Uncommon Components, 1 Blood Point. 
Effect: You lose 1 Blood Point every 10 minutes, if you can’t lose Blood Points you die in horrible agony.

This Curse lasts until you drink enough Vampiric Blood to become Blood Bonded to someone new or you commit Diablerie.

Level 4

Vampiric Catalyst
The catalyst for your greatness.
Type: Incantation.
Cost: Rare Components, 4 Blood Points from a Character with a Discipline, a participating recipient Character.
Effect: This Ritual gives the recipient Character a Discipline that belongs to the Character with the Discipline. The recipient Character adds one Discipline the participating Vampire have on their Character Sheet unto their, they can now use Experience to learn levels in that Discipline without having 2+ Potency.
Ghoul Transfusion
Eater of the dead now became literal.
Type: Incantation.
Cost: Rare Components, a Staked or willing Character, any participating Ghoul.
Effect: A participating Ghoul Diablerizes a Staked or willing Character as if they was a Vampire and does not lose Sanity nor suffer from Addiction to Diablerie.

Level 5

The Philosopher’s Stone
It’s all things to all humans. If you’re hungry, you eat it. If you’re dirty, you shower under it. If you need to go somewhere, you sit on it and you fly there. If you have a question, it answers it.
Type: Incantation.
Cost: 3 Mythic Components, 3 Blood Points from a Vampire, 3 Blood Points from a Ghoul and 3 Blood Points from one of your Connections. 
Effect: You create a Philosopher’s Stone, it’s an indestructible Mythic Component that can be recharged by sacrificing a Character or one of the wielders Connections.
If it is charged, it can be used as any other type of Component indefinitely.

If the caster dies the Philosopher’s Stone is no longer indestructible and can be destroyed at will by whoever wields it.
Notify the Storytellers Room before casting this Ritual.
