Ghul

There is a Clan that is not of Vampires, but of Blood Servants without masters. These ghouls are a discreet guild of mages, using secrecy as much as they do magic to gain power.

Being the most recent Clan to join the Undying Society they still have a long way to go to truly be welcomed, as having a blood bank filled with locked up vampires inevitably makes people a bit worried.

On the other hand, they are actual mages whose power is worth being allied with. Though they are more than that, they have networks of spies, and perhaps they have just the information you need on your rival.

ST Note: This is a Clan for people who want to play the mage larp, this means using Rituals and dealing with the occult. This Clan is a deadly clan to play in, especially as an Initiate. You must be a Ghoul to play in this Clan.

Clan Agenda

It’s the common ambition of the Clan Ghul to secure their position in the Undying Society, because their position is still very much in question. But Clan Nephilim is having their Reformation and now would be the time to make sure that their reform doesn’t lead to more hunting of mages.

Clan Structure

Guilds. Each city with Clan Ghuls presence has a local Chapter, made of three different Guilds. Each Guild has its own secrets and ways, making sure that if one were caught, not all of the Clans secrets can be spilled. Each Guild has its leader but they all adhere to the Chapter Master, who is also the Guild leader of the Masters Guild.

Clan Embrace

Every Character has had an Embrace where they went from a Mortal without knowledge to a Ghoul with knowledge, here we look into what kind of Character would usually be Embraced into the Ghul. When a person joins Clan Ghul and becomes an Initiate, they must go through the Rites of the Initiate. The Rites is a year long duel to the death between two Initiates, if no winner is found within the year, both are executed. When creating an Initiate in the Clan, you must decide if you have done the Rites or not, how it went or if it’s still ongoing.

Promising Pupil – You’re an outsider, but despite that you want to achieve. Your drive has already impressed coworkers and teachers, your willingness to get where you need to go is above and beyond. You were also fortunate enough to be born with magical talent.

Stray Blood Servant – Sometimes freedom is so close you can almost taste it. That is what it feels like being a Blood Servant watching Clan Ghul. Luckily enough you had magical talent so after many hours of convincing and lots of betrayal to be done, you did it! Welcome to “freedom”.

Family Expectations – You come from a long lineage of Clan Ghul members with apparent magical talent, the expectation for you to succeed and become something great within the Clan has of course led you to the trials. Lucky for you, you perhaps had enough training to be prepared for being an Initiate.

Clan Organization

Each Clan has its own Organization of humans who they turn into Blood Servants to serve them. When using Bind Humans in the Storytellers Room you can Bind them from your Clan Organization.

Name: Library of Secrets.

Intrigues: None.

2+ Influence: Spy Network – When you Bind Humans, you draw from one of the four Clan Organization instead, and when you choose a Blood Servant you write their name and Intrigues down on a Spy card instead and put the original Blood Servant back in its deck.

Lore: A fancy name for a secret network of Blood Servant spies, the Library of Secrets is one of Clan Ghuls most treasured resources. Blood Servants working unnoticed, in hopes of one day being liberated from servitude.
